Ok, bouncing my war across downtown to my car at 3:30am, it is 34 degrees Farenheit and I am wearing: t-shirt(1), sportcoat(1), jeans(1), boxers(1), socks(2), shoes(2).  By all rights, I should be freezing my hiney off, but I don't feel a goddamn thing.
Stopping by my neighbors' to rant happily about my evening, they give me nutella spread like a mudplain on white bread.  It is the best tasting thing since that bison burger an hour ago.  I bitch about Hot Shotz, because their (admittedly good) drinks are like 8-10 dollars apiece, but I have the money now, so why shouldn't I blow it on feeling good?
Now I'm eating the kind of food that I won't admit to my friends I even buy.  It comes in a can/box, has silly names and cartoon characters on it, and it's exactly what I want when I'm drunk, or tired enough that it still feels like it.
I love a lot of people, but I don't want to touch most of them lately.  I'm not very comfortable around anyone this year, even people I so desperately want to reach out to.  This has been the best night of its kind in a long time.  I hope it happens again tomorrow.
